Every print in this project visualizes an entire year of birding data from eBird in Cameron County, TX - the southernmost county in the United States.

These visualizations are staggeringly detailed, representing hundreds of thousands of observations of millions of birds. They are meant to be read like a clock where 12 midnight is October 1, 2023 and 11:59pm is September 30, 2024.

Prints are generated using custom-written software, with typography placed by hand. No AIs were used in the production of these artworks!

Unframed prints are on Hahnemuhle Photo Rag paper, a super deluxe heavy weight paper with lots of texture. Framed prints are on 220g art matte paper and are framed with Motheye glass, which has anti-reflective properties. Frames for light variants are natural wood; dark variants are white. Prints are not matted.

If you're looking for a cheaper version of these prints to tack up on a wall or put up in your office, check out the poster version.

15% of the proceeds from every sale will go to The Wild Bird Fund, New York City's only dedicated bird rescue & rehabilitation organization.
