Every poster in this project visualizes an entire year of birding data from eBird in a specific region.
These visualizations are staggeringly detailed, representing hundreds of thousands of observations of millions of birds. They are meant to be read like a clock where 12 midnight is October 1, 2023 and 11:59pm is September 30, 2024.
Prints are generated using custom-written software, with typography done by hand. No AIs were used in the production of these artworks!
These are printed on poster paper and shipped with plastic-free tubes.
If you're looking for a better quality version of these artworks suited to framing and collection, check out the art print versions.
15% of the proceeds from every sale will go to The Wild Bird Fund, New York City's only dedicated bird rescue & rehabilitation organization.
