10,151 bird species visualized in a single composition, positioned radially by wing length. This hyper-detailed artwork combines morphological data from AVONET with colors extracted from Wikipedia descriptions.

The colors come from Wikipedia descriptions of each bird, extracted using natural language processing. Bright blues for kingfishers, reds for cardinals, greens for sunbirds. The visualization combines two different data sources—physical measurements and descriptive text—to create a portrait where size and color both tell stories about bird diversity.
